Can You Carry A Vaping Device on Air Plane? The Rules You Must to Know
There are some people not sure if they can carry vape kits or electronic cigarette on air plane. Can you carry it on flight? The answer is YES. But there are some rules you must to know according to TSA guidelines on bringing e-cigarette and vape devices on planes.
Carry On Bags - YES, Checked Bags - NO
- The FAA prohibits these devices in checked bags. Battery-powered E-cigarettes, vaporizers, vape pens, atomizers, and electronic nicotine delivery systems may only be carried in the aircraft cabin (in carry-on baggage or on your person). Check with your airline for additional restrictions. Remove all electronic cigarette and vaping devices from carry-on bags if checked at the gate or planeside.
Batteries Only Allowed in Carry On Bags
If your vape box mods come with built-in batteries or dry batteries (AA, AAA, C, and D), you must keep them onto your carry-on bags due to FAA prohibits loose lithium batteries from being transported in checked baggage.
TAS Policy on Liquids, E-Juice Included
- TAS: These are limited to travel-sized containers that are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item. Placing these items in the small bag and separating from your carry-on baggage facilitates the screening process. Pack items that are in containers larger than 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters in checked baggage.
Any liquid, aerosol, gel, cream or paste that alarms during screening will require additional screening.
According to TAS policy, passengers are allowed to carry your vape e-juice on air plane. But it must be packed separately from your carry-on bags.
Followed the Rules of Airport
The rules and regulations of airport are subject to constant change. So it’s best to check both the TSA website and your specific airline’s website beforehand, to ensure whether e-cigarettes are allowed to onboard.
To bring a vape or e-cigarette device onto the plane, you must have it in your carry-on bag. Nothing besides juices and e-liquids can be stored in the checked baggage. Just take your vape kits to travel and enjoy your vaping!
Warning: Do Not Hit Vaping Device on the Plane. The Vapor Could Easily Be Mistaken for a Fire or Worse.
