KangerTech DripBox 60W Squonk Review
Kangertech surprised many recently with the release of the Dripbox, a squonking style kit with a bottom fed RDA and a squonk style mod. So today we will talk about the KangerTech DripBox 60W Squonk.
The KangerTech DripBox 60W Squonk is a dripper that’s also a bottom feeding or squonking device. You can vape it like a traditional dripper by pulling off the drip tip connector and dripping ejuice directly into the cotton of the coil. Or you can squonk it by filling the 7 ml capacity reservoir and squeezing it to feed ejuice to coil from the bottom.
But you need to notice that to fill with e-liquid, remove the magnetic e-liquid cover. Pull the bottle down and twist off of the plug. Fill up the e-liquid bottle stopping at the neck. Re-insert the bottle into the plug and push up into the Dripmod. Replace the e-liquid cover. The Subdrip is a 510 threaded RBA that features replaceable 0.2ohm coils. It comes in four sections. The drip tip connector, The Subdrip cover which covers the drip coil base which holds the drip coils. The coils can easily be replaced by unscrewing them from the base.
The Dripmod is a 60 watt regulated squonk mod. It's 510 threaded and features a single fire button with no settings or LCD screen. Five clicks will turn it on or off. Charge the Dripmod via the mini USB port or use a 30amp 18650 battery. The power button will flash 15 times when a battery change is needed. The battery compartment features a battery lock by loosening the bottom nut. To insert the battery, unscrew the battery cap. Insert the battery and replace the cap. If your battery is loose, the Dripmod will not work. Tighten the battery lock until snug to make contact.
There is only one button on the Dripmod, the fire button, and there is no display. To turn the device on or off you press the fire button five times. The button will flash to let you know that you’ve done so successfully. You can charge the battery while it’s in the device via the micro USB port on the side of the mod with the included charging cable.
Building on the SubDrip RDA decks is fairly easy, even for newcomers to rebuilding. You'll see small holes around the edge of the deck- these are the juice feed holes so when rewicking you just need to take care to make sure these are free of wick so juice can be fed up to the SubDrip RDA unobstructed.
Airflow is comprised of two adjustable cyclops airflow slots on either side of the top of the SubDrip RDA. You can adjust these by rotating the top cap, and there's plenty of airflow on offer to keep cloud chasers happy, the stock 0.2ohm build definitely puts out plenty of vapour!
Finally, the simplicity of the DRIPBOX means it doesn’t have a long list of features, but to be honest, it really have a sort of special functions, such as top feed and bottom feed (drip and squonk) and that 7.0 ml capacity reservoir are just about all it needs. I will tell you a good news, you can buy the DripBox 60W Squonk from vaporl.com. Because the price is really attractive only $23.63.
