Hey,guys, today I want to take a review of SMOK H-PRIV PRO Starter Kit, which consists of H-Priv 220W Box Mod and TFV8 Big Baby tank. It will deliver a satisfying amount of vapor at 220W maximum output and supports nickel, titanium and stainless steel 316 wire in temperature control mode. In this review, I'll show you the H-PRIV Mod kit and how to use it, as well as the pons and cons.
PackageNow, here is the Smok H-PRIV Pro kit package, on the back of the box, it'll tell you what's include inside and little induction. Inside the box, we can see 1 H-Priv 220 MOD and 1 TFV8 Big Baby tank, a Replacement glass tube, user manual, 2 coil heads including V8 baby-x4 core and V8 baby-t6 core, as well as Spare parts.
Smok H-PRIV Battery ModLet's see the SMOK H-PRIV mod, it is a 220w temperature control box mod, works with dual 18650 cells. The first sight I see it, I think she is beauty and remind me a lot of the design of the Xcube Mini box mod, with the same top OLED screen and sidebar fire button, and it's actually just about the same size as the SMOK Xcube mini. However, the H-PRIV mod is 220W while the xcube mini only 75W. In addition to its portability and compact size, the SMOK H-PRIV designed as a new look with a red bar of colorful finish, comfortable soft feel, which make me impressive and love it.
At the top, we can find the 510 spring loaded connection and a bright nice size OLED screen, in addition to the regulatory button while the + on left and - on right.
And the H-PRIV uses sliding slot battery cover, with 8 venting holes and magnet holding features to make battery replacement easier. The 8 venting holes for heat dissipation effectively, we can see the 24k gold plated positive and negative terminals in the battery cover, which to improves convenience and safety protections. Besides the battery cover, there is a Micro USB Port, it can only use for firmware upgradeable.
The TFV8 Big baby tank can hold up 5ml juice and top rifill, adjustable ariflow system. let's take a closer look at the tank. The drip tip can removable and we can use any 510 mouthpiece. After remove the drip tip, we'll notice rotate refill system, which makes filling as easy as it gets. And the leak proof e-liquid slot can significantly solve leaking problem. At the bottom, we can see knurling airflow system, we can adjust by moving the airflow control ring.
Testing Alright, let's do a test on the SMOK H-PRIV PRO Starter Kit. After installing the batteries, the box mod can be turned on or off by click fire button 5 times. The device switches on independently and first of all we are greeted with a screensaver with the name of the company "SMOK".
The OLED screen will show you the battery life and wattage, it will show you the resistance and temperature in TC mode.
We can click the fire button 3 times to get into the menu mod and switch different modes, such as TC Modes, VW modes and memory mode.
In the VW mode, we can adjust the wattage between 6 watt to 220 watt. While in the temperature control mod, we can go 200 up to 600 fahrenheit and we got 100 to 315 degree Celsius.
When we go back to the menu, there is also the puff counter heading and setting. Furthermore, we can lock the screen or settin time. That's relly cool.
SummaryThe SMOK H-PRIV PRO Starter Kit with simple and hard lines make the kit looks very fashionable, it can deliver a satisfying amount of vapor at 220W maximum output and comes with adjustable airflow system of TFV8 Big Baby tank. I think the SMOK H-Priv 220W TC Starter Kit is the perfect combination of brilliant designs, power, and value, it is a nice clean vape with massive cloud and great flavor.
While it comes to the pros and cons, I have to say, nothing is perfect. First, let's talk about the pros, it's beatiful and elegant, powerful output, and great taste. The fire button bar makes it a pleasure to use, no fumbling around for a single button. However, the first cons is the battery cover, it's really tough, I have to push it down and slide it which is really a pain for me. Secondly, the batteries can’t be charged within the MOD itself that I have to take extra batteries when in the outside. Overall, as far as I’m concerned, I loved using the H Priv at far lower power levels and no doubt I will continue to do so.
